Conditional Bids
As some of our customers may already be aware, used vehicle auctions in the US are generally conducted the old-fashioned way, hence one must physically attend the auction hall, physically inspect the vehicles, and submit bids through the raising of hands to purchase vehicles. Furthermore, information such as grading points, inspector's reports and special mentions, and the like are not included in the auction listings and/or auction sheets, so customers accustomed to purchasing vehicles from Japan may experience some inconveniences at first.
However as we have no control over the present method in which auctions are carried out in the US, all we can do is try to be ingenious in our purchasing methods. For example, our customers may choose to submit conditional bids (see below for examples). We will then place bids and proceed with purchases only when our physical inspection confirms that the vehicle satisfies the condition you have placed on your bid. |

As Mentioned above, multiple bids for the same vehicle are acceptable. Even conditional bids such as "Only place a bid up to US$13,000 if the vehicle is equivalent to a 4.0 point grading or greater under Japanese standards " are acceptable and in such cases we will obviously not place a bid if the vehicle is deemed to be below a 4.0 point grading.
We will also be able to accept conditional bids unrelated to grading points such as "If the vehicle is not a repaired accident vehicle and there are no other major problems and the exterior appearance is reasonably clean and tidy" US$12,000 |

| Other conditional bids not mentioned above are also acceptable. If we are made aware of our customer's requirements beforehand, we will make sure to only purchase vehicles fulfilling the specified conditions by first conducting thorough physical inspections. In situations where a purchase is required no matter the condition of the vehicle, something such as please place a bid/purchase no matter the condition of the vehicle will ensure we will act accordingly. |
