Trade Terms
Please read through the following terms and conditions to proceed with your submission of inquiry and/or bid.

1. The Buyer will include all necessary details when submitting inquiries/bids, including the name and number of the auction hall, the exhibit number and name of the vehicle, bid/purchase order amount expressed in US Dollars (USD), and the total quantity of vehicles required.

2. Where possible, Global Vehicles Inc. will conduct pre-auction inspections of the vehicle in question to ensure that no major problems exist. Pre-auction inspections are not available at certain auction halls in continental U.S. as detailed on the Internet homepage of Global Vehicles Inc. and certain limitations exists in the scope of these pre-auction inspections.

3. The Buyer will allow for a margin of at least US$100.00 above their bid amount to allow for the intricate nature of the auctioning system used to place direct bids.

4. Global Vehicles Inc. has the right to refuse to proceed with any bid if it believes it is in the best interests of the Buyer not to proceed with any particular bid.

5. Bids will only be accepted when a deposit of US$1,000.00 or 20 percent of the bid amount (whichever is greater) is paid prior to the submission of the bid. Deposits can be made through a telegraphic transfer to the designated bank account.

6. Vehicles already purchased and which have been fully settled, and/or vehicles already shipped without documentation, may also be used as collateral for the acceptance of bids. The purchase price of the vehicle to be held for collateral, less expected costs estimated to be necessary if the vehicle were to be re-sold, will be deemed to be the amount available as deposit. In such cases, Global Vehicles Inc. has the right to withhold documentation of the vehicles held for collateral until vehicles purchased subsequently are fully settled.

7. If payment for purchased vehicles has not been received within 60 days from the date of purchase, Global Vehicles Inc. has the right to resell the vehicles in question. The Buyer will be liable for all of the charges and costs associated with the reselling process.

8. Cancellation of purchases will only be accepted when there is negligence on the part of the auction hall and/or Global Vehicles Inc. If there is no negligence on the part of the auction hall and/or Global Vehicles Inc., the Buyer will be liable for all of the costs associated with the cancellation and re-sale of the vehicle.

9. Vehicles purchased in the United States will be subject to certain claim exemptions and conditions.

Details : There are certain aspects of the car such as its clutch condition or braking ability that cannot be checked at the auction hall (as there is no room to drive or move the car at the auction hall).

In case our staff spots any defect that is not mentioned in the auction sheet, we will inform you the contents of the defects by e-mail.
In case, specification described on the auction sheet (condition report) differs to that of purchased car, we will claim it to the auction hall involved and seek settlement according to the auction rule.

In case the defect is suspected to be of a serious nature and you wish to claim it to the auction hall, then the car must first be brought into authorized car dealer to find out the estimate of the cost for the repair work, then we must claim it to the auction hall.

The fees involved in getting the estimate cost for the repair will not be covered by the auction hall, hence must be covered by you.

In case the defect(s) found during the after-purchase check was of the nature which we could not have spotted at the auction hall prior to the purchase, please note that we will not be able to take any responsibility for that defect.


10. Global Vehicles Inc. will lodge a claim with the relevant auction hall on behalf of the Buyer in the event any serious problem/defect is detected in a vehicle if Global Vehicles Inc. deems a viable claim can be filed.

11. If the problem/defect is of a nature where detection was difficult or not possible, Global Vehicles Inc. will not be held liable for any damages which may arise.

12. If the problem/defect is found to be of a nature which should have been detected by Global Vehicles Inc., Global Vehicles Inc. will bear the burden of compensation proportionate to the level of responsibility. The amount of compensation to be paid by Global Vehicles Inc. will be determined through negotiation between the two parties.

13. Global Vehicles Inc. will not be held responsible for problems/defects which were not originally detected during the after-purchase inspection but which become apparent after arrival at destination. However if it is determined that there were problems during transportation, the negotiations with the transportation companies regarding compensation will be carried out by Global Vehicles Inc. on behalf of the Buyer where possible.

14. The onus is on the Buyer to be fully informed of the relevant laws and restrictions which exist in the country of import. Global Vehicles Inc. will not be held responsible for the purchase of vehicles which do not comply with any relevant import regulations.

15. Both the Buyer and Global Vehicles Inc. will endeavor to settle any matters which are not provided for above in good faith through mutual consultation between one another.

16. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be settled through negotiations. In the event that these negotiations are not successful, any disputes shall be settled in accordance with the legislation of U.S.A. Both parties agree that the court of law which has jurisdiction over the location of Global Vehicles Inc.'s head office will be the primary court of law before which disputes are presented.
